Clutch: Mini Clutch
Question: Where can I find a video on how to rebuild the mini dry clutch? It would be great if there was something on Youtube from L&T
Answer:
T.J.,
At this time there is not a video for rebuilding clutches. May look into making one though. We offer rebuilding of clutches here at the shop for parts cost only plus a $15 flywheel regrinding fee. If interested just send clutch in. Our address is on the web-site. if any questions you can call at 937-429-3500.
Thanks,
Jeff

Question: Hi, Have been running a full size 1 disc dry with wave washers in Yamaha senior supercan. Have opportunity to move to the 2 disc mini. Should I make this move or is the 1 disc full still a viable clutch for this application. Thank You
Answer:
John,
That clutch is still a good option, but you will probably be happier with the 2 disc mini.

Clutch: Wet Clutch
Question: How to set oil level and can dexron 3 or 10w30 be used as oil for clutch.
Answer:
Collin,
There are level lines on gold cover of clutch. Put the line on the right just below center. Take fill plugs out. Put oil in from top left hole until oil comes out bottom right hole. Put fill plugs in and you are ready to go. Our clutch oil is specific to this application. I would not recomend using other oil. You can find our oil from the dealers on the website.
Thanks

Clutch: Wet Clutch
Question: What temp should a wet clutch run at it seems to be super hot and it is leaking from the space at the starter bolt is this normal?
Answer:
No , tyhat is not normal. That usually indicates the oil s boiling. Maybe from overslipping. Clutch may need redone.

Clutch: Other Clutch
Question: 11T Dry Clutch. I recently bought a dry clutch and installation was a snap. However now the clutch cover bearing keeps popping out of the cover after a few moments of full throttle and rattling around in the clutch and cover. I put the bearing back in the cover and re-attach but the same thing happens after a few moments at full throttle. Is there an adhesive you would recommend?
Answer:
Check to make sure snap ring is insalled after bearing. May need stretched apart if it keeps popping out.

Clutch: Wet Clutch
Question: What "fluid" do I use to fill my Wet Clutch?
I dont want to use the wrong "oil" and wreck the clutch I have. Thank You For The TIme and Effort

Answer:
Jesse,
The L&T Clutch oil is the only oil i would use. Contact dealer(list on website) or send cash or check for $27. $20 for oil and $7 for shipping and we can send you a bottle.
Thanks
